Whalebuy Spreadsheet Question Map: buyer questions traced to Whalebuy's own rules
Two hundred and seven help pages sit behind this service, and almost nobody reads them in the order they were filed. This site reads them in the order people ask: eight clusters, one question per heading, the posted rule first and the usual misreading last. Start with a product below, or jump to whichever cluster your question belongs in.
Sixteen aisles, each one a shelf you can open now
The catalogue behind these shelves is a browsing list of real listings, not a document you download. Open an aisle and you get product cards with photographs and prices; copy a listing link from there and an agent can buy it for you. Fragrance, watches and electronics carry the most route restrictions, so read the sending cluster before you build a box around them.

Why use this Whalebuy Spreadsheet before paying?
Use the catalogue when you know the kind of item you want but have not chosen a seller. Use the Question Map when you have found an item and need to decide whether the size, total cost or shipping plan makes sense. Those are useful jobs before Whalebuy takes an order: a product card alone cannot settle any of them.
Turn a shortlist into a buying decision
Suppose two jackets look alike, but one listing shows a lower starting price. Open both original listings, select the same size and colour, and compare the actual option price plus domestic postage. Record the seller link and the measurement you need checked. The listing checklist keeps a cheap accessory option or a different size from becoming a false bargain.
Keep the next payment in view
Before buying, reserve room for freight using the cost breakdown and weight tools. After arrival, use the photo questions to decide what remains uncertain. Existing photos from other purchases can suggest what to look for; only the photos attached to your order show what Whalebuy received for you. This site cannot approve a return, place an order or change a parcel.
Work through a two-listing comparison before moving the chosen link into Whalebuy.
Where two of the company's own pages disagree, both readings are printed and the disagreement is named. That happens more than you would expect: the top-up fee, the city the warehouse sits in, the hour the buying desk opens, and the name of the company on the contact page all have two live versions as of 21 and 22 October 2026.
Why choose Whalebuy for a multi-seller order?
A buying agent is useful when you need someone to purchase from Chinese sellers, receive their separate deliveries and prepare international shipping. Receiving, basic inspection and consolidation are common agent services. The reason to consider Whalebuy is how its documented controls fit your order, rather than the presence of those services alone.
Check a route before committing, then check the goods
Whalebuy's public estimator accepts destination, product type, weight and box dimensions. That lets you investigate a bulky jacket or a restricted item before paying for it. Its tutorial then separates purchase orders from warehouse items and the parcel request: paying for goods does not automatically send them abroad. That pause is useful for checking a wrong colour or requesting a measurement before several items are packed together.

Choose another service when the job needs more
A local shop may suit a fixed arrival date or easy size exchange. A specialist inspection service is more appropriate when you need electronics tested or a formal product assessment: Whalebuy's receiving inspection excludes those checks. If you already buy from sellers yourself, compare forwarding terms instead of paying for purchasing help you do not need. Read the full fit and trade-offs, and get a written answer where the published fees or terms disagree.
Eight clusters, and the questions that land in each
Pick the one that matches the thing you are stuck on. Each page opens with the shortest honest answer and then works down through the awkward cases.
- PayingTwo separate bills, the rate the balance converts at, card and wallet charges, vouchers, and getting a balance back out again.
- BuyingPasting a link, choosing from an option menu that mixes adult and children's sizing, and what happens when the seller's price moves after you paid.
- PhotographingWhat the free frames are allowed to settle, what a paid detail shot adds, and the categories the warehouse will not unseal.
- StoringShelf time, the repack into plain bags, bundling several orders, and the rehearsal that weighs a box before you commit to a route.
- SendingWhy a route disappears from your list, which of two weights gets billed, how to fill the customs line, and tracking that stays blank for days.
- FixingThe five-day window, the refund paths by order state, the cover you can buy, and the two days you have to photograph a damaged box.
- DecidingReading a seller, reading a listing, and a short test for whether a reference site like this one is worth your time.
- KnowingWhich company is on the paperwork, what the service does and does not do, and when a different agent is the better call.
How a Whalebuy order moves from goods payment to shipping
The ordering guide follows the sequence from a marketplace link to delivery. After paying for the goods, wait for receipt and QC; inspect the selected item before creating the international parcel. Then compare eligible routes and the second bill. If the warehouse photos leave a sizing question unanswered, resolve it through the photo checks before shipping.
Whalebuy publishes a short demonstration of the first half on its own channel. It is filmed on a phone, it is two minutes long, and it shows the part that reads worst in writing: pasting a marketplace link and watching the option menu fill itself in. Under it is a desktop walkthrough we drew ourselves, covering both bills.
Three calculators that answer a question each
None of them talk to the service, and none of them can see your account. They exist because three questions come up constantly and all three are arithmetic: which of two weights a route will bill you for, what bundling actually saves once handling charges stop repeating, and which two dates start running the moment an order line turns to stored.
- Billable weight check. Enter a packed weight and three sides, pick a divisor, and see which figure wins. Change the divisor and watch the answer flip.
- One box or several. Enter two or three weights plus a route's first step, repeat step and handling charge, and compare sending them apart against sending them together.
- Two deadlines from stock-in. Enter the day the line turned to stored and read back the swap window, the free shelf expiry and the narrow slot where extra months can be bought.
What moved on the service this month
The notices page keeps a dated list of what changed on Whalebuy's side and what changed here. Two items from the most recent read: the homepage step strip still advertises a video inspection feature as arriving in the middle of the year, and the official video channel has not posted since the end of August, which matters if you were planning to judge the service by its social feed.
This site is written by readers of Whalebuy's published pages and has no relationship with the company. Quotations were taken from the company's own site on 21 and 22 October 2026; prices, windows and route lists move, so treat every figure here as dated.
