Who holds the pen here, and what they refuse to write
A reader project with no account, no access and no agreement with the company whose rules it reads.
About
This is not the company's website
Say it plainly, because the address makes it easy to get wrong. Whalebuy Spreadsheet Question Map is run by readers. It is not operated by Whalebuy, not licensed by Whalebuy, and not connected to the company named on Whalebuy's service terms. We hold no account on the service, cannot see your order, cannot move a parcel, cannot release a refund and cannot unlock an account. If you need any of that, the company's own support address is on its contact page and it is the only route that works.
The domain ends in a different suffix from the company's own. That is a coincidence of registration, not a claim of any kind. Every page here carries the same statement at the top and in the footer so that nobody arrives at a single page and misreads it.
About
How the pages get written
One method, applied to every entry.
- Read the company's published page and note the day it was read.
- Paraphrase the rule closely enough that it is still the company's rule.
- Write what the rule turns into on an actual order.
- Write the misreading, taken from the gaps between the company's own pages.
Where two published pages conflict, both are printed and the conflict is named. Where a figure cannot be checked from outside, it is either attributed to the company as a claim or left out. We do not publish anything that would require an order behind it unless we say an order was placed, and on this site no order has been placed.
What that rules out: seller recommendations, batch opinions, authenticity judgements, delivery promises, and any comparison of agents by numbers nobody publishes.
About
Mail that is useful, and mail that is not
Corrections are the useful kind of mail. Send the page it belongs on, the claim you think is wrong, and ideally the company page that contradicts it, to [email protected]. Fixes land with a dated line on the notices page.
What we cannot help with: anything touching an account. Order problems, refunds, locked accounts, missing parcels and damaged goods all need the company's own support, reached through the order record or the contact address on its site.
Links from here to the service and to the product catalogue are tagged, and some of them pay a commission if an account is opened. The notices page says more about that.
