The about page promises one-stop sourcing, purchasing, payment, inspection, international
transport and door delivery, claims offices in China and the United States, and puts its reach at
forty-five countries. It also contains an unedited phrase that has clearly been
through a translation tool and never been read back. We quote none of its numbers as facts because
none of them are checkable from outside.
What is checkable: eighteen display currencies in the public interface, fourteen destination
countries that returned live route lists when the public estimator was exercised in October, a
public help centre of two hundred and seven entries, and a video channel with seventeen short clips
all posted in a single month. Those are the numbers this site is willing to stand behind, and each
one carries the day it was counted.
Is there a commission on top of the goods?
Posted rule
Two pages answer differently. The older fees page says no other charges apply beyond goods, international freight and a declaration charge at the border, with optional extras bought as wanted. The newer charges page lists a service fee among the things that may appear, alongside payment processing and optional service charges, and says all of it is shown before you confirm.
Read on Whalebuy's Service & Fees page, 21 and 22 October 2026.
In practice
The page dates do not tell you which wording applies to your order. Compare the itemised checkout total with the fee notice and ask support to identify any service charge before paying. Keep the confirmed terms with the order.
Misread as
The no-commission line gets quoted as a guarantee. The conflicting wording does not establish a fee exemption. Confirm the applicable charges for the services you actually select.
